New release: Josef Schober's debut Album.
The CD-presentation takes place at the 11th June 09:00 pm at the Buona Sera (Kaindorf bei Hartberg).

Participation in the opera production La traviata by Giuseppe Verdi. The opera will be broadcasted (compilation of two performances) on the first time on Easter Monday in Servus-TV.

In the context of a (my) Bachelor Honours work at the SAE Vienna / Middlesex University, London, the Surround Recording Methods INA, OCT, Decca Tree, Fukada Tree, WCSA, MMAD (Multiformat) and IRT Cross where compared with my invention: "Universal Multiformat Microphone Array for Natural Multiphony (UMA)", also known as "Kortschak-Surround".

Fortunately, the following three hypotheses could be reviewed in its accuracy:

Hypothesis 1: Due to the geometric design of the invention, it is possible to create subjectively and objectively consistent recordings which are suitable for all reproduction formats described in the ITU-R BS 775-2 standard. The degree of change only corresponds to the ratio of the proportional change of the different, compared playback formats.

Hypothesis 2: The invention is the most natural reproducing multichannel microphone array.

Hypothesis 3: Recordings which were made with this multichannel microphone array sound aesthetically better than those which were performed with other multichannel microphone arrays on the same conditions.
